It’s time to dive into my EdTech toolbox and take inventory of the best web-based resources for social studies teachers!
There are a LOT of tools to consider. To make things a little easier, I’m organizing these resources into three categories:
- Places and faces – Social studies is full people, places, and events. These are some of my favorite tools for practicing geography and history facts.
- Research – Students need access to accurate historical and modern information to include in reports, presentations, and other classroom projects. I have compiled a list of five great places to find up-to-date information.
- Instructional tools – these are my favorite tools for bringing history, government, geography, and economics to life! You’ll also hear a few ideas for using these tools for your next classroom activity or project.
Visit this blog post for links and descriptions for ALL of the tools I mentioned in this episode!
